Akshay Kumar in Kaththi remake, Karan Johar pays Rs 6 crore for remake rights of Dear Comrade

With remakes being the flavour of the season, Akshay Kumar, too, has joined the bandwagon. The 51-year-old actor will reunite with Mission Mangal director Jagan Shakti for Hindi remake of Kaththi. Titled Ikka, the film will be an action thriller.

On the other hand, buzz has it that Karan Johar has paid Rs 6 crore for the Hindi remake rights of Vijay Deverakonda's Dear Comrade.
