US doesn't want war with Iran but will defend itself: Blinken tells UN

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken condemned all acts of terrorism, describing them as 'unlawful and unjustifiable'. He emphasized this applies regardless of whether the victims are in Nairobi, Bali, Istanbul, Mumbai, New York, or Kibbutz Be'eri. Speaking to the UN Security Council, Blinken stressed the right of every nation to defend itself and prevent such atrocities from recurring. He asserted that no member of the Council or any nation could tolerate the massacre of its citizens. Blinken also highlighted the collective responsibility of all nations in combating terrorism.
