SC verdict on Karnataka crisis, Mumbai building collapse death toll rises, Floods wreak havoc in Assam, Bihar

The fate of the 15 rebel Congress-JD(S) MLAs will be decided by the Supreme Court today as it is set to deliver its verdict on their pleas seeking a direction for Karnataka Assembly Speaker KR Ramesh to accept their resignations. If the resignations are accepted, the Congress JD(S) government is likely to fail to floor test that is scheduled for June 18.

In other news, the death toll in the horrific Mumbai building collapse has reached 13 and the blame game continues.

Meanwhile, over 20 lakh people have been displaced in flood-hit Assam. Residents near the Kaziranga National Park have been shifted to the temporary relief camps.
