PM taunts oppn after northeast polls win; EAM S Jaishankar to chair Quad foreign ministers meet; more

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday addressed Bharatiya Janata Party workers after the party managed to secure big win in Nagaland and Tripura Assembly elections. PM Modi said that the poll result showed a huge change in northeast. He added that the northeastern states are now “na Dilli se door, na dil se door’.

The meeting of the Quad Foreign Ministers will be hosted by India in New Delhi on Friday. The meeting will be chaired by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi, Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong will attend the Raisina Dialogue 2023.
