Chandrababu Naidu's party rekindle ties with BJP; Congress's first list today

Chandrababu Naidu-led Telugu Desam Party (TDP) returned to NDA after six years. TDP's ally, Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena also allies with BJP for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Naidu met Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Congress's Central Election Committee (CEC) met on Thursday to finalise its first list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. However, the list was not released on the same day, continuing the suspense over the seats which would be represented by the Gandhis.

According to sources, the first list will be released on Friday.
