BJP chief Amit Shah attacks Congress; Tamil Nadu CM announces civic polls will be held in 3 months; more

BJP chief Amit Shah has urged voters to turn out in large numbers and practice their right to vote. In an early morning tweet, Amit Shah took a dig at Congress party and its governance. He said, "Each and every vote has the power to form a strong central government."

Tamil Nadu chief minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami announced that civic polls would be held in the state after three months. This comes after the state government informed the supreme court of its inability to conduct local polls by May 31.
