Arvind Kejriwal's big claim; Political row on Hyderabad theatre stampede

Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of indulging in vote-buying practices in the New Delhi constituency. He said that BJP has allegedly begun offering Rs 1,000 per voter to secure votes ahead of the upcoming elections.

The political war rages following a stampede at a Hyderabad theatre and questioning of actor Allu Arjun by the Hyderabad Police. BJP leader K Annamalai launched an attack on the Telangana government, criticising Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for allegedly "bullying" the actor. Annamalai termed the questioning of Allu Arjun by the authorities as "unacceptable".
