Violence at Amit Shah's Kolkata rally, fire set outside college

Violence broke out during Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah's massive roadshow in Kolkata on Tuesday. The scuffle broke out between Trinamool Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party workers.

Clashes began when BJP president Amit Shah's convoy passed by Calcutta University campus on College Street. Stones were pelted at Amit Shah's convoy from a college hostel on Bidhan Sarani.
