Is Covid-19 pandemic affecting different parts of the world differently?

The world continues to combat the coronavirus pandemic, with US recording over 50,000 deaths. The virus has affected different parts of the world differently. Like in India, the death toll stands at 7,00. India Today TV spoke to Covid-19 tech lead, WHO, Maria Van Kerkhover and Chief Scientist, WHO, Dr Soumya Swaminathan.

"This virus is very transmissible. Once it has the opportunity to establish itself, it can grow very very quickly. In some countries, it is taking some time to be able to establish itself, while in other countries it has spread relatively quickly," said Dr Maria Van Kerkhove. For more, watch the full video.
