High drama was witnessed in Hyderabad after YSRTP president YS Sharmila was taken into preventive custody. The YSRTP president had given a call to gherao CM KCR's house and while she was just one kilometre away, the state police detained her. 

And The Kashmir Files controversy has been renewed after Nadav Lapid, the jury head of the 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI), termed the movie as a "propaganda movie" and "vulgar". Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri has called Nadav Lapid a genocide denier, while Anupam Kher called his remarks 'horrifying & shameful'.
