Actor Saif Ali Khan was stabbed in his Mumbai home by an intruder who entered through a fire escape. The incident occurred around 2:30 AM on Thursday, with Saif sustaining six stab wounds and undergoing surgery at Lilavati Hospital. He is currently in ICU and stable. Police have identified the attacker and released a CCTV image showing the suspect fleeing the scene at 2:33 AM. The video shows a man with a backpack and red cloth on his shoulder hurriedly descending stairs. Police suspect burglary as the motive but are investigating all angles, including potential inside help, as there was no forced entry to the 12th-floor residence. The maid, who was also attacked and filed the complaint, has been questioned by police. Seventeen teams are working to apprehend the suspect, who is believed to have hidden in the building before the attack.
