Nirbhaya gangrape case: Convicts to hang on March 20 at 5.30 am

After years of perseverance, Nirbhaya and her family finally attained justice on Thursday soon after a Delhi court announced that the four men convicted of gangraping a Delhi physiotherapy intern, Nirbhaya, will be hanged at 5.30 am on March 20.

In December 2012, a 23-year-old-year female was beaten, gangraped, and tortured in a private bus in which she was travelling with her male friend. The 2012 Delhi gangrape triggered major outrage, resulting in innumerable protests across the country. For more, watch this video.
