Ahead of Diwali, the air quality in Delhi deteriorated as it entered the "very poor" category for the first time this season.
The overall air quality index was recorded above 300 mark, in the very poor category in many parts of Delhi, according to the Central Pollution Control Board. Air quality forecast agency SAFAR said stubble burning accounted for 6 per cent of the PM 2.5 pollution in Delhi, blaming local pollution factors.
And, the Technical Advisory Group (TAG), an independent advisory committee of the World Health Organisation (WHO), has recommended Emergency Use Listing (EUL) status for Bharat Biotech COVID-19 vaccine Covaxin, sources said.
