The protests against Citizenship Amendment Act in UP again turned violent on Friday with reports of clashes coming from Firozabad, Gorakhpur, Bahraich and Hapur.
Stone pelting by demonstrators was reported in Firozabad district. A police post was damaged and three vehicles were torched by an unruly mob, following which the police used tear gas to control the situation.
