After the murder of chemist Umesh Prahladrao Kolhe in Amravati on June 21, others who backed suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma got threatening calls that they would be beheaded. India Today has accessed the chilling threat tapes.

And a massive controversy has erupted over the poster of filmmaker Leena Manimekalai's upcoming documentary film Kaali. The poster depicted a woman dressed in the costume of Goddess Kaali. She is seen smoking a cigarette in the photo.
