Maharashtra government gives nod to Maratha quota

The Devendra Fadnavis government today passed the Maratha Reservation Bill. The bill about the Maratha reservation will likely be tabled during the winter session of the state assembly.

The Maharashtra government had earlier hinted that it would announce reservations for the Maratha community.
