Zomato rolls back 'green uniform' for 'pure veg mode' fleet after severe criticism

Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal announced the decision to scrap plans for green uniforms for the 'Pure Veg Fleet' within 24 hours of its introduction. 

A section of social media labelled Zomato's new move "casteist", even as founder Deepinder Goyal emphasised that it "doesn't serve or alienate any religious, or political preference".
