YouTubers assaulted in Dharmasthala, police lathicharge to control tension

A tense situation prevailed near Dharmasthala and neighbouring Ujire in Karnataka as two groups clashed over media coverage of the Dharmasthala secret burial case on Wednesday evening, injuring YouTubers and a reporter. A group of Dharmasthala residents had a heated argument with representatives of YouTube channels covering the investigation into the alleged secret burials that were conducted by a former sanitation worker between 1998 and 2014
