Wipro Chairman Azim Premji Donated Rs 22 Crore Per Day to Tackle Covid Pandemic

He made a total donation of Rs 7,904 crore during the Covid lockdown.He’s none other than Azim Premji! The founder & chairman of Wipro. Dubbed as the ‘Most Generous Indian'.Premji donated Rs 22 crore per day. As per the 7th edition of EdelGive Hurun India Philanthropy List 2020, Azim Premji Foundation gave Rs 1,000 crore. Wipro gave Rs 100 crore, & Wipro Enterprises Rs 25 crore towards fighting the Covid-19 pandemic. This Rs 1, 125 crore is in addition to the annual CSR activities of the Wipro, & Azim Premji Foundation. Azim Premji is indeed a role model for Indian philanthropy. Watch the video to know more.
