Racist Attack in Uttarakhand: Tripura Student Loses Life

Anjel Chakma, an MBA student from Tripura, died 18 days after being allegedly attacked by a group of men in Uttarakhand. His brother, Michael Chakma, says they were targeted with racial slurs and assaulted when out shopping on December 9. Police have arrested three men and detained two minors, while one accused remains absconding in Nepal. A reward has been announced for information leading to his arrest.
