One Year of Covid-19: How Coronavirus Changed Our Lives

A 55-year-old individual from Hubei province in China was allegedly the first person to have contracted COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus spreading across the globe. That case dates back to Nov. 17, 2019. At the time, authorities suspected the virus stemmed from something sold at a wet market in the city. It’s been a year that China reported its first Covid case – since then the ongoing pandemic has killed more than 1.25 million people around the world and infected tens of millions more. Currently, in November, the race to develop an effective vaccine has become a priority. The peak stage of the Covid-19 pandemic in India has been delayed by the eight-week lockdown along with strengthened public health measures.
