On Friday, March 15, New Zealand witnessed a dark day as at least 49 people were killed after gunmen opened fire at two mosques in Christchurch while the Muslims were offering prayers. On Islam's holy day, a gunman attacked Masjid Al Noor mosque in central Christchurch. Seven others were killed at a mosque in suburban Linwood and a few outside the building.

The gunmen broadcasted the horrific footage of attack at mosques LIVE on Facebook. The video shows a man in camouflage driving into the mosque. He shot multiple worshippers leaving dozens of bodies in just one room.
