Mumbai: This woman stood in rain for 8 hours to warn commuters about open manhole

Despite losing all her belongings to the rains, this 55-year-old woman from Mumbai- Kanta Bai remained standing in knee-deep water near an open manhole for nearly 8 hours, directing traffic so that accidents could be prevented.

After getting no help from the BMC, Kanta decided to stand there till the water level receded while starving herself. Her video of standing in rain and helping motorists got viral & garnered praises & even donations from the netizens.
