Miss India 2020: Runner-up Manya Singh's Inspiring Journey

Manya Singh, the runner-up of Miss India 2020 is winning all praises on the internet. She is the daughter of an autorickshaw driver. Hailing from a small town of Uttar Pradesh, Manya had a lot of dreams while growing up. Even though she didn't win the crown, her story is awe-inspiring to many. Coming from a humble background, Manya had to struggle hard for a better future. In an Instagram post, she revealed that she had to spend many nights without food & sleep. She couldn't attend school as she had to start working in her teenage. Manya had won the regional round and was crowned Miss India Uttar Pradesh. At the age of 14, Manya fled home to complete her studies. In the day she studied in a school and during the day she worked at a Pizza store. She used to wash dishes at the restaurant. In the night she worked at a call center. While juggling between jobs, she appeared for her 10th board exams and scored an 80% aggregate. Manya decided to take part in the pageant to uplift her family.
