Hathras Rape Case: UP BJP MLA Believes 'Sanskar in Girls Can Stop Rapes'

While speaking on the Uttar Pradesh's Hathras gang-rape incident, the BJP MLA from Ballia constituency Surendra Singh said in a statement that rapes can only be stopped if parents teach daughters to behave decently. As per the MLA, a good 'Sanskar' & not 'Shasan' can prevent rapes. Later, his statement caused a furore on social media & sparked a controversy.
