DPS Bengaluru and Mysuru strengthen measures amid HMPV cases

Delhi Public Schools in Bengaluru and Mysuru have implemented strict measures to address rising concerns over human metapneumovirus (HMPV). Mansoor Ali Khan, a DPS board member and Congress leader, announced precautionary steps, urging parents to keep symptomatic children at home. Class teachers have been instructed to monitor students closely, while parents of symptomatic children will be contacted immediately. Khan reassured families that unwell students could attend assessments at a later date. The schools aim to maintain safety without creating panic among parents or students.
