Deceived, trafficked, sold for Rs 80,000: How human traffickers are luring Indian women to Oman 

A woman was trafficked by her own relatives and held hostage for 2 months in Muscat. Following her SOS, she was rescued by the Foreign ministry, and alleges that at least 25-30 women from Amritsar and Jalandhar are still stuck there. They are sold to the locals for anything between Rs 80,000 and Rs 1.50 lakh each. But how do such cases of trafficking take place? @jessicagoel explains.
