COVID19: Supreme Court Lauds 'Mumbai Model', what is it?

Maharashtra was the state worst-affected by the coronavirus disease but has now improved its infection tally by strictly following its crisis management protocols. The SCI has praised Mumbai's response to the spread of Covid-19. They proposed that the Mumbai model should be replicated in Delhi.

At 0.6%, the city’s death rate is among the lowest in the world. In the national tally, Mumbai's share of new cases has fallen to less than 1% in May 2021, as opposed to 20% in May 2020.
