Bachchans vs YouTube: Celebrity privacy at stake

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have filed a ₹4 crore lawsuit against YouTube and Google over AI-generated deepfake videos. The couple has asked the Delhi High Court to order removal and permanent ban of such content, while also raising alarm over its use in AI training. With “sexually explicit” manipulated clips crossing 16 million views, the case has become one of India’s biggest celebrity battles against AI misuse and a test for digital privacy laws.
