A âvaccine passportâ will be like an âe-vaccination certification of compliance required to travel in and out of countries. A standard framework needs to be put in place by the World Health Organisation (WHO) for the âvaccine passportâ to be generated and put in use. The WHO had earlier announced plans to develop an e-vaccination certificate. It will be a digital version of the yellow bookletsâ countries use to keep an individualâs record of vaccinations. The idea is still being debated as there are still "too many fundamental unknowns." While the vaccine passport would somehow make travel safer during COVID19, there are a host of privacy concerns that come along with it. The scepticism that different nations would not necessarily be willing to respect other countries' tests and certificates has some industry leaders cynical about such a system working.
