Devendra Fadnavis to take oath as Maharashtra CM at 7 pm today

BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis will take oath as Maharashtra chief minister at 7 pm today. Meanwhile, rebel Shiv Sena MLA Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis have reached Raj Bhavan to meet Governor BS Koshyari.

On Wednesday night, Uddhav Thackeray resigned as Maharashtra chief minister, which paved the way for the return of the BJP to power. The rebel Shiv Sena MLAs led by Shinde are likely to support the BJP to form a government.
