The remarkable victory of Narendra Modi in the 2019 general elections marks a tectonic shift in India politics. If 2014, was a victory where Mr Modi rode the anti-incumbency wave against the Manmohan Singh govt, this win is much more significant with a seven per cent increased vote share while in power is massive achievement.
