To play Ravan, one must understand Ram: Ashutosh Rana on playing iconic character

On this week’s Unpolitics podcast, renowned actor Ashutosh Rana discussed his journey to portraying demon king Ravan in the play 'Humare Ram'. The interview, coinciding with Sharadiya Navami and the Dussehra, explored his childhood ambition to play the character, which stemmed from watching Ramlila, the legend of Lord Ram.

During the candid conversation, Rana stated that to play Ravan, one must first understand Ram. He said, "If a negative energy doesn't transform after coming in contact with a positive energy like Ram, then a question mark arises."
