Trying to bring unity through rap: BlaaZe at Conclave South 2018

BlaaZe, a Tamilian rapper, attended the India Today Conclave South 2018 on December 21. Speaking at the event, BlaaZe talked about how he was trying to bring unity through rap and his words.

He talked extensively about the caste divide in music and how Bollywood is becoming more welcoming in including music from all parts of the country.

BlaaZe said, "Growing up I never saw the divide. It wasn't until 2003, that people started dividing everything in sections and asking about your religion, whether you are a Christian or a Muslim. That's why music became my way of expressing my feelings. I am trying to bring unity just through raps and words, that is what rap is all about."
