This special report focuses on the posthumous release of 'Roi Roi Binale', the final film of beloved singer, composer, and actor Zubeen Garg, which premiered to an overwhelming emotional response in Assam and 46 cities across India. According to filmmaker Rajesh Bhuyan, âWe were working on this movie for the last three years. The story and music of the movie were by Zubeen Garg... We had completed almost all the work on the movie, except for the background music...â. The film, a dream project for Garg, sees him in the lead role of a blind artist. Its release on October 31, a date Garg himself had chosen, became a tribute following his death in Singapore on September 19, 2025. Theatres across Assam reported sold-out shows, with some starting as early as 4:45 AM to accommodate the massive demand from fans paying their last respects to the cultural icon.
