Jisshu Sengupta is currently apprehensive, waiting to see how the audience will react to his latest release, the Vidya Balan-starrer, Shakuntala Devi. The film starts streaming on Amazon Prime Video tomorrow, July 31. Here too, Jisshu is seen in the role of a supportive husband, quietly yet firmly backing a strong Shakuntala as she conquers the world. But, Jisshu isn't worried about being stereotyped, for he believes he has a face that reassures the audience, and directors who cast him in said roles.
An outsider in Bollywood, Jisshu also doesn't get the nepotism talk. "There's nothing wrong if a father launches his daughter, but ultimately only talent shines."
In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Jisshu Sengupta spoke about this, and more.
