Drug link case: NCB registers criminal case against Rhea Chakraborty

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has registered a criminal case against Rhea Chakraborty in the drug link case. NCB has also named Rhea's brother Shouvik, Jaya and Shruti Modi.

The NCB has registered a case under Sections 20, 22, 27 and 29 of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act.
On Tuesday, August 25, ED wrote to NCB asking them to probe the drug angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

In an interaction with India Today, Rakesh Asthana, director of Narco Control Bureau, had confirmed the same. He had said, "We are also starting the investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case."
