Rani Mukerji on early years of her career; calls 'Saathiya' a turning point

Actor Rani Mukerji sat down for an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in on her 46th birthday and discussed her career trajectory along with her growth in the industry.

During the conversation, she said, "All my life I have trusted my instincts. There was a period in my life, in the beginning, when my parents took the decisions about the films I did. This was because I was not very involved. Then, when I understood the importance of being involved in films, and hit the note with Saathiya-that was the turning point in my life. I understood that I need to do much more than just being part of films."
