Farah Khan, Naseeruddin Shah, Suresh Oberoi: Celebs at Satish Shah funeral

Farah Khan, who directed Shah in 'Main Hoon Na' was also present to pay her last respects. 

The 74-year-old actor, popular for his roles in 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai', 'Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro', and 'Main Hoon Na', had been battling kidney-related complications and had recently undergone a transplant.

Across a career spanning over four decades, Satish Shah became a beloved household name with his unforgettable performances in both films and television. He achieved cult status with his iconic turn in the 1983 satire 'Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro', where he masterfully portrayed multiple characters.

Naseerudin Shah, who worked with the late actor in several films, was also present for the funeral. 

Shah's filmography also includes popular hits like 'Hum Saath-Saath Hain', 'Main Hoon Na', 'Kal Ho Naa Ho', 'Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa', 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge', and 'Om Shanti Om', showcasing his versatility across genres.

Before the funeral, Shah's body was kept at his house from 10 to 11 am today, where celebs paid their tribute. 

On television, Shah’s portrayal of Indravadan 'arabhai in 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai' remains one of the most iconic comic roles in Indian TV history. He also featured in the beloved 1984 sitcom 'Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi', which became a defining show of its era.

Veteran actor Poonam Dhillon was also clicked at the crematorium to pay her last respects to Satish Shah. 

Tiku Talsania also looked emotional at Satish Shah's funeral. 

Sudhir Pandey, who has worked with Shah in several iconic films, also paid his last respects at the crematorium. 

Dilip Joshi, along with Rupali Ganguly, looked visibly heartbroken as they arrived at the crematorium to bid their final goodbye.
