Akshay Kumar exclusively spoke to India Today about 'Mission Raniganj' underperforming at the box office. The film released on October 6. When asked if he ever thinks of taking a step back when his films don't work at the box office, he said, "I do take risks. Making these kind of films (Mission Ranganj) is a risk. I don't want to take a safe route. The happiness that I get when I make a 'Padman' or an 'Airlift', it gives me satisfaction. I can easily make a 'Rowdy Rathore' or 'Singh is Kinng' and earn triple the amount of money. But I'm very happy making these kind of films. But I also wouldn't say I will not make these films. I will balance myself."
