Taapsee Pannu defends her decision to do Judwaa 2 after Pink at Mind Rocks 2018

After hard-hitting films like Pink and Naam Shabana, Taapsee Pannu was heavily criticised for doing a film like Judwaa 2, which had a lot of underlying misogyny.

An unapologetic Taapsee told India Today's Preeti Choudhry at the Mind Rocks Delhi 2018, "I will not do films like Judwaa 2 if you make films like Pink and Naam Shabana 100-crore films."

"Every film has certain characters, but it is up to you who you are considering a hero. We are not asking you to treat a character as the hero in a film," she said.
