West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday led a massive protest march against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Kolkata. The Trinamool Congress, led by Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee, alleged that the SIR is a 'backdoor NRC' by the central government aimed at disenfranchising genuine voters, particularly minorities.
