Zubeen Garg's manager, event organiser detained in connection with death probe

In the ongoing probe into the death of Zubin Garg, his event organiser, Shyamkanu Mahanta, and manager, Siddharth Sharma, have been detained. Mahanta was detained in Singapore and Sharma in Gurugram, with both being brought to Guwahati for questioning by the CID. Security was heightened at Guwahati's LGBTI airport ahead of their arrival. Garg died on September 19th while swimming during a private yacht party at Levers Island in Singapore. The investigation is exploring the circumstances of his death, with a reporter stating, 'Another charge that has been stated against both of them is of murder and of negligence.' The SID team is also involved in the probe, and there are reportedly other files lodged against both individuals in different police stations.
