Youth commits suicide over Maratha reservation demand, tension high across Maharashtra

The issue of Maratha reservation took a violent turn in Maharashtra after a young protester committed suicide in Aurangabad.

Kakasaheb Shinde (28) jumped off a bridge over Godavari river in Kaygaon village in Aurangabad. Lifeguards took him out of the water and rushed him to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
