In an exclusive interview with India Today, Dr David Nabarro, WHO's special envoy on Covid-19, said that India has been able to avert some very large outbreak of coronavirus through the lockdown.
Talking about India's lockdown, Nabarro said, "Well, we have been very supportive of the very strong action being taken by the people and govt of India. And although, we don't have the luxury of detailed data, but we do sense that you have been able to avert some very large outbreaks through this."
While talking about the global fight against Covid-19, he said things will get better, but it will be a rocky road to get there.
