Yogi Adityanath's no mercy warning to rioters involved in unrest across state

Following incidents of unrest in Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued a stern directive to the state police. The Chief Minister has ordered authorities to show "no mercy to criminals," file immediate FIRs, and identify and punish the masterminds behind the disturbances. These instructions come in the wake of disturbances in cities such as Bareilly and Moradabad. Adityanath stated that the properties of those involved in criminal activities will be probed. The warning was issued to prevent any attempts to spread violence, particularly during the festival season of Nav Durga, and to ensure that law and order situations are firmly handled across the state.
