Women's Reservation Bill tabeled in Lok Sabha: A day to cheer nari shakit or political jumla

The Lok Sabha will have a seven-hour window to discuss the Women's Reservation Bill beginning at 11 am today. The bill proposes 33 per cent representation for women in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies. After the debate, the bill is likely to be passed in the House later today. The bill, named Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, was introduced in the Lok Sabha by Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal.
