Will not participate in poll campaign: Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam

Senior Congress leader and former Mumbai party chief Sanjay Nirupam today dropped a bombshell denouncing the state party leadership and accused it of sidelining him.

In a tweet, Sanjay Nirupam said he feels Congress party doesn't need his services anymore and added he will not participate in poll campaign.

"It seems Congress Party doesn't want my services anymore. I had recommended just one name in Mumbai for Assembly election. Heard that even that has been rejected. As I had told the leadership earlier, in that case I will not participate in poll campaign. It's my final decision," Sanjay Nirupam said in his tweet.
