Around 240 Olympians, support staff sports federation officials have been invited for the Independence Day celebrations at the Red Fort. Lauding their performance at the recent Tokyo Olympics, Prime minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said they had inspired the youth of the country. PM Modi, along with those present at the Red Fort, gave an ovation to the contingent who participated in the Tokyo 2020 Games.
