Watch: What led to Union Minister Narayan Rane's arrest?

Maharashtra is on the boil following Narayan Rane's remarks against Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray and the Union minister's subsequent arrest on Tuesday. Some reports say Rane is only the third central minister to have been arrested while in office, the first in twenty years.

Narayan Rane was produced before the Mahad magistrate's court and granted bail around 11.30 pm. He has been asked to furnish a bail bond of Rs 15,000 and present himself at Raigad on August 30 and September 6.
